The Weston A. Price Foundation spend a lot of time promoting the eating of liver. In fact, I’m somewhat shocked by the number of totally woo-woo members they have who boast of eating liver every day. Every day! Haven’t they heard what that does to cats’ spines?
I feel strongly that this is a very unnatural way of eating. Our ancestors did not throw away muscle meat and just go around eating livers like some strange species of vulture or vampire. They ate the whole animal!
Based on yesterday’s cow-related statistics that one cow produces 27 lbs of offal, I ought to be eating a mere 1.5 oz of offal each week in order to mimic a ‘natural’ diet.
